Mary Theresa Yocum
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, in St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Beaverton for Mary Theresa Yocum, who died Nov. 26 at age 86. Recitation of the rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, in Pegg, Paxson & Springer Mortuary.
Mary Contreras was born Nov. 25, 1919, in Tempe, Ariz. During World War II, she served in the Women's Army Corps. She moved in 1945 to Beaverton, where she was a homemaker. In 1944, she married Cecil; he died in 1983.
Survivors include her sons, Robert A. and David R.; daughter, Patricia A. Heath; sister, Gertrudis Dinkel; brothers, Joe Contreras and David Contreras; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
