Jean Shirley Wood
Jean Shirley Wood died July 6, 2005, at age 83.
Jean Downing was born Feb. 5, 1922, in Portland. She graduated from Commerce High School and was a medical records technician for Portland Adventist Hospital and later worked for nursing homes.
Survivors include her son, John; daughter, Peggy Gust; sister, Barbara Kastellic; brother, Ted Downing; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
