A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, in Hillsboro United Methodist Church for Lynette Kruchek Wilcox, who died Feb. 22 at age 89.
Lynette Kruchek was born Oct. 10, 1914, in Sisters and was raised in Hillsboro. She graduated from Hillsboro High School and Oregon Normal School, and was a homemaker. In 1936, she married Keith E.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Dixie Piland and Kathleen Thurman; son, Ronald; brother, Keith Kruchek; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
