Thelma Lena Bell Wittenberg
Thelma Lena Bell Wittenberg died Oct. 29, 2001, at age 83.
Mrs. Wittenberg was born Thelma Lena Bell Buttenham on July 10, 1918, in Los Angeles. A homemaker, she moved to Portland in 1952. In 1937, she married Mason L. Wittenberg Jr.; he died in 1983.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Ann Weigel; brother, Jim Buttenham; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Private service. Interment in Willamette National Cemetery. Arrangements by Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes.
