Richard Robert Walker
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, in St. James Lutheran Church for Richard Robert Walker, who died Aug. 26 of non-Hodgkins lymphoma at age 44. Mr. Walker was born Feb. 13, 1956, in Phoenix, Ariz. He was a salesman for Astra Pharmaceuticals in California and Albuquerque, N.M., and then a self-employed contractor until about 1996. He moved to Portland in 1992. In 1995, he married Rebecca Bolt.
Survivors include his wife; father, Gene; and brothers, David, Tom, Joe, Ron and John.
Disposition is by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to the adult bone marrow unit in care of Oregon Health Sciences Foundation. Arrangements are by Wilhelm Funeral Home.
