Myrtle Skooge Watters
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2001, in Warren Community Fellowship Church in Warren for Myrtle Skooge Watters, who died Feb. 28 at age 94. Mrs. Watters was born March 13, 1906, in Williams, Ariz. Her maiden name was Skooge. She graduated from Jefferson High School, from Emanuel Hospital School of Nursing and later from the University of Oregon Medical School. She was a surgical nurse and medical records librarian for Emanuel Hospital until 1948, and then a homemaker. In 1948, she married Leslie "Tom" Watters; he died in 1969.
Survivors include her daughter, Raynette Lewis; and two grandchildren.
Interment in Bethany Lutheran Cemetery in Warrenton. Remembrances to Shriners Hospital for Children. Arrangements by Columbia Funeral Home.
