| Louis R. VALDEZ Born December 16, 1923 in Glendale, AZ died September 2nd in Seattle. Louis enjoyed traveling, camping, bowling, fishing. He was an avid Mariners fan, memberships included White Center VFW Post 3075 and Skyway Sr. Center. Served in the Army during WWII from 1943 to 1945. Worked for Seattle Times as a pressmen for 1972 to March 1983 when he retired. Also worked for ACME colorprint in San Bernardino, CA. for 24 years. Moved to the Seattle area in 1973 from California. Survived by wife of 54 years Connie Valdez, Seattle; sons, Lenny and Mario Valdez, Seattle; daughters, Aurora Maez, Seattle; Theresa Whitesel, Kent; brother, Joe Ramirez, Salinas, CA.; sisters, Sara Mendoza, Salinas, CA; Lupe Garcia, San Bernardino, CA., 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Friday 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Renton with Visitation Thursday at Faull- Stokes Mortuary from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. with Burial at Tahoma National Cemetery.
