| Dorothea F. Thomas Dorothea F. Thomas was born on April 8, 1918, in Girard, PA, and died on March 26, 2008, in Marysville, WA. Daughter of the late F.W. and Opal Bell Keller, sister of the late Fredrick A. Keller and Kenneth V. Keller. Wife of the late A. Richard Thomas who passed away on February 19, 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Lee (Ambrose) Roerick; also her grandson, James Shick; granddaughter, Laura (Terry) Roerick; and great-grandchildren, Brittany, Alyssa and Amber; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, in PA and Ohio. She and her husband moved from PA to Washington when her husband retired in 1978 so they could be near their wonderful daughter. Dorothea also had a special son and daughter who adopted her as their second mom, Mark and Debbie Holland. Dr. Holland's mom and dad live in CA and Debbie's parents run a mission retreat center in Kako, Alaska so she became their second mom and special grandmom to their children, Amanda (Nathan) Crain, Justin (Brianne Weaver) Holland and KyLeah Holland. She attended Allen Creek Community Church in Marysville, WA. Dorothea's father was from Bornholm, Denmark. She had many relatives in Bornholm. She never saw any of them - hopefully they will be united some day. She had many friends back East and here in Washington. She loved so many, so much and was loved in return. Viewing will be held from 12 to 5 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Weller Funeral Home, 327 N. MacLeod Ave., Arlington. Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon, Friday, April 4, 2008, the Allen Creek Community Church, 7314 # 44th Ave. NE, Marysville, WA 98270; with a 3:00 p.m. graveside service at Arlington Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Allen Creek Community Church for the Holland Byrd Foundation, to help with the care of Holland Byrd, a 26 year-old quadriplegic who was a special friend of Dorothea.
