| A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2003, in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Portland for Eileen Tsohonis, who died April 7 at age 77. A trisagion service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 10, in Caldwell's Colonial Chapel. |
| Eileen Kanelis was born Aug. 29, 1925, in New Kensington, Pa., and moved to Portland in 1937. She graduated from Clinton Kelly High School of Commerce and was a loan officer for First National Bank for 25 years and then a clerk for Rentrak and a sales clerk for Lloyd Center See's Candy. In 1968, she married Sam; he died in 1986. |
| Survivors include her stepdaughters, JoAnn Tsohonis and Kathleen Sparling; stepson, Tom Tsohonis; sisters, Alice Holbrook, Elizabeth Kanelis and Sophia Runyard; brother, Constantino Kanelis; three grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. |
