A service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2003, in Bateman Carroll Funeral Home for Adele Turcott, who died May 25 at age 78.
Adele Lavin was born May 11, 1925, in Philadelphia. A homemaker, she moved in the early 1960s to Portland. In 1946, she married Leo; he died in 1976.
Survivors include her daughters, Pat Schmidt, Celeste McCartney, Beverly Murphy and Bonnie Kirk; son, Paul; brothers, Morrie and Herbert; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
