Charlotte R. Smith

Charlotte Ruth Smith died Sept. 26, 2003, at age 73. Charlotte Ruth Hoyt was born Dec. 2, 1929, in Clearfield, Pa. She was a registered nurse for St. Mary Hospital in Astoria, and she lived in the Portland area for about 30 years. In 1952, she married Lewis; he died in 2001.
Survivors include her son, Michael; daughters, Kimberley R. Smith and Kerry S. Knapp; and four grandchildren.
