Evelyn H. Shipe
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, in Donelson Sewell & Mathews Mortuary for Evelyn H. Shipe, who died Jan. 11 at age 94.
Evelyn Heins was born Sept. 16, 1908, in Philadelphia. She moved to Portland in the late 1940s and was an underwriter for several insurance companies. In 1927, she married Robert; he died in 1930.
Survivors include her daughter, Sally White; four grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
