| Edna Louise Sparks, born December 3, 1933 in Van Buren, Missouri, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on May 6, 2002. She came to Washington in 1945 and spent most of that time in the Everett/Marysville vicinity.She was the loving and beloved wife of Charles N. Sparks of the home. They had been married for almost 31 years. She was the loving mother of Nancy Pomeroy, Olympia; Pamela Hicks, and Victoria Harding of Everett; and son, Louie Yaw of Snohomish. Mother by choice of son, Ron Cox, Missouri, and daughter, Christine Eney of Kansas. She was the doting and loving grandmother of all of her nineteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. |
| Edna was a much loved sister to her remaining six brothers: James and Janice Jones, North Carolina; Wayne and Virginia Jones, Lynden; Lee and Shirley Jones, Lynden; Earl and Kathy Taylor, Oregon; Jessie and Bea Jones, Virginia; and Clarence and Sylvia Jones, Virginia. She was a special and dearly loved sister to her four sisters: Edith and Don Schauman, Everett; Linda Carroll, Camano Island; Alice and Bob Mullen, Colorado, and Juanelda and Chris Montgomery, Louisana. She had numerous nephews and nieces whom she loved and many many friends. |
| Edna is going to be sorely missed by all of her family, relatives and friends. She was such a beautiful, loving, and generous person. She had a wonderful sense of humor and really loved life. The loves of her life were family and friends, camping, traveling, doing arts and crafts, gardening; a busy little lady. |
| Burial services will be held in the Lynden Cemetery on Friday, May 10, 2002, at 11:00am with family and friends. |
| Memorial Services will be held with and for all of her family, relatives and friends on Saturday, May 11, 2002, at 1:00pm in the New Hope Assembly of God Church, 9304 7th Avenue, South Everett; of which Edna was an active member. If you wish to give a memorial for Edna, make it to the church in remembrance of Edna Sparks. |
