Elda Emmaline Scott
Elda Emmaline Scott died April 25, 2001, at age 88. Mrs. Scott was born as Elda Gillam on Jan. 12, 1913, in Dallas, Ore. During World War II, she served in the U.S. Army. She received a bachelor's degree from Oregon Normal School and a master's degree from Oregon College of Education. She was a teacher for Gilbert Elementary School and then for the Multnomah Educational Service District, retiring in 1975.
Survivors include her sons, Philip Maholland and Calvin Hale; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
