Helen Morrison-Selander
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2001, in Living Savior Lutheran Church in Tualatin for Helen Morrison-Selander, who died May 13 at age 77. Mrs. Selander was born Helen Maxcy on Aug. 23, 1923, in Aloha and graduated from Commerce High School. She lived in Tigard and Beaverton and was a bookkeeper. In 1983, she moved to Sherwood. She was a member of the church and taught Bethel Bible Study classes. She married Robert E. Morrison in the mid 1940s; he died in 1976. She married Melvin Selander in 1983.
Survivors include her husband; son, Steven Morrison; daughter, Nancy Belvin; brother, Charles Maxcy; and five grandchildren.
Interment in Fir Lawn Cemetery in Hillsboro. Remembrances to the church building fund. Arrangements by Cornwell Colonial Chapel.
