Jeanette A. Engstrom Schray
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2001, in Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Portlandfor Jeanette A. Engstrom Schray, who died May 10 at age 81. Recitation of the rosary will be at 7:15 p.m. Sunday, May 13, in St. Mary's Cathedral.
Mrs. Schray was born Jeanette A. Engstrom on April 29, 1920, in Marshfield. She moved to Portland as a child and graduated from Girls Polytechnic High School. She was a homemaker, taught at North Catholic High School in the 1960s and was an active member of the church community. In 1938, she married Eugene O. Schray.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Karl, Mark and Keith J.; daughter, Kristine Erving; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Interment in Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery. Remembrances to Our Lady of Sorrows School. Arrangements by Mt. Scott.
