Virginia Elaine Schilpp Virginia Elaine Schilpp died Aug. 17, 2007, of cancer at age 71. Virginia Buckalew was born March 9, 1936, in Oakland, Calif. She moved in 1980 to Gresham and in 1991 to Vancouver. She was a customer service manager for Weyerhaeuser. Survivors include her daughter, Sandy Nobes; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
