Jacqueline Aleen Sandvig 

Jacqueline Aleen "Jackie" Sandvig died Oct. 29, 2006,
at age 77. 

Jacqueline Pochert was born July 17, 1929, in
Portland. She graduated from Grant High School and
Holy Child Academy, as well as from Lewis & Clark
College. She taught for Portland Public Schools, and
later for Navy dependent schools in Morocco, Italy and
Guam. In 1953, she married James R. 

Survivors include her husband; son, Quentin; daughter,
Jarmila Hawes; brothers, Dean Pochert, Arthur Pochert
and Alan Pochert; sister, Janet Campbell; three
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
