Helen A. Sandstrom
A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, in Fuiten Rose & Hoyt Funeral Home for Helen A. Sandstrom, who died Jan. 26 at age 91.
Helen A. Mattson was born March 4, 1915, in Jerome, Ariz., and moved to Gaston in 1919. In 1934, she married Francis O.; he died in 1998.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Hedin, Barbara Nordholm and Janice Downing; sons, John E. and David; brother, Lloyd Mattson; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
