| Mary COOPER and Susanna Cooper STODDEN These two lovely women were killed on July 11th on the Pinnacle trail near Mt. Pilchuck. Mary Cooper Stodden was born on 4-9-50 in Springfield, PA. Susanna, her daughter, was born 7-2-79 in Seattle, WA. Mary attended Georgetown University and the University of Washington. She was an educator in Seattle schools for 27 years, for the past 15 years as Librarian at Decatur Elementary. She recently earned a Masters Degree in Library Science from the University of Washington. Susanna graduated from Garfield High School and Western Washington University with a degree in Environmental Education. She has worked and volunteered her time at many environmental organizations and causes. She was anticipating a full time teaching position in the fall. Mary is survived by her husband, David Stodden, daughters, Elisa and Joanna and two sisters, Jane and Nancy, as well as 4 sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law and numerous other relatives and friends. Susanna is survived by her father and sisters, her boyfriend, Norman Lee, and a wide circle of friends. May they rest in peace! Memorial Services are planned for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 23rd at Town Hall, 119 8th St Seattle 98101.
