Juanita Schenk
A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Portland for Juanita Schenk, who died Feb. 21 at age 82. Mrs. Schenk was born Feb. 24, 1918, in Cuba, Mo. Her maiden name was Haack. She was raised in Illinois and later lived in California before moving to Portland in the 1950s. She worked for Tektronix for more than 25 years until retiring as supervisor of the wire preparation department in 1979. She was an active church member of All Saints Catholic Church and later of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She was also active in Catholic Daughters. In 1946, she married Clifford B. Schenk; he died in 1973.
Survivors include her sons, Bill and James; brother, Francis Haack; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Interment is in Rose City Cemetery Mausoleum. Arrangements are by Rose City Funeral Home.
