Barb attended Clover Park High School and graduated from the printing program at Clover Park Vocational School. She worked many years in the printing business and was an owner of Reed Graphics in Tacoma. In recent years, she enjoyed her retirement and the companionship of Dave Fike as they traveled in their RV to the Mariners’ spring training and served as campground hosts at various campgrounds including Fort Flagler. Barb was renowned for her generosity, helping others whenever she saw the need. She enjoyed serving the Lord by teaching Sunday School and adult Bible studies. Her family will miss her loving smile, her gentle spirit and her habit of bringing way too much food to every family gathering. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids. Some of her favorite hobbies included cooking, bowling, boating, reading, playing the organ, painting and avidly watching the Mariners. One of her favorite subjects to paint was her mountain, Mt. Rainier. Her family would like to thank Northwest Specialties for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Lighthouse Community @ www.thelighthousecommunity.org , a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources to cancer patients. A memorial service for Barb will be on January 21, at 3:00PM at Bethany Baptist Church in Puyallup. A private graveside service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park.
