Donna Jill Roberts


Born April 12, 1933 in Kansas City, Missouri, died
February 3, 2006 in Tacoma, WA from complications of a
pulmonary disorder. She is survived by her four
children, Deidra August of Kansas City, MO, Maura
David, Riverside, CA, Dale Richardson, Leavenworth, KS
and Christopher Richardson, Lynnwood, WA. She has a
brother Jack Malaney and sister Josie Malaney, four
grandchildren Shivohn, Jacob, Sarah and Lindsey, three
great-grandchildren Madison, Cole and Kaleb. Jill was
an accomplished artist, a former student of the KC Art
Institute and later in life completed a bachelor of
Science in Education with a teaching certificate in
Art. After teaching for a few years in Missouri she
moved to Washington State where she began a very
successful career in Real Estate through Coldwell
Banker and John L. Scott. She retired early to enjoy
her many hobbies which included painting, gardening &
photography. There will be a Rosary Service Tuesday
evening at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be 12:00-2:00
p.m. on Wed., with the funeral service beginning at
2:00 p.m. All services at New Tacoma Funeral Home.
Flowers are welcome. Her favorite charity was
Christian Children's Fund.
