Ramon Granillo Romero
Ramon Granillo Romero, 69, died January 3, 2002 after an extended illness. He was born in Mesa, AZ and had lived in the Pierce County area the past 60 years. Ramon had retired from the US Army after 23 years# service and, most recent- ly, as an LPN at Western State Hospital. He was active in his com- munity, belonging to the VFW, DAV, American Legion and the Lakewood Elks. Survivors include his wife LaVonne; children Michael, Catherine, Barbara, Carol, Daniel, Ronald and Anthony; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; mother Consuelo; and siblings George, Margaretta and Richard. Service Saturday, 2:00 p.m. in the Evergreen Chapel at New Taco- ma Cemetery. Pub Date: 1/5/2002
