A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2003, in Gresham Funeral Chapel for Daisy Belle Roberts, who died June 21 at age 81. Daisy Belle Brewer was born Nov. 24, 1921, in Fresno, Calif. During World War II, she served in the Women's Army Corps. She moved in the early 1960s to Portland. She was a licensed practical nurse for hospitals and nursing homes for more than 30 years. In 1942, she married Richard H.; he died in 1993.
Survivors include her sons, Harold and Ross; daughters, Patricia Lewis and Frances Smith; brother, Richard Brewer; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
