Jo An V. Chapman-Regan
Jo An V. Chapman-Regan of Las Vegas, NV, passed away
Sunday, October 21, 2001, at the Warm Beach Health Care
Center, with her family by her side. She fought a nineteen-year
courageous battle with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Jo An was born March 26. 1930, in Long Beach, CA to Jack and
Bea (Cody) Chapman. She graduated from Twin City H.S.
(Stanwood), class of 1948, while living at Warm Beach. She
married Fred Regan on January 6, 1951, in Marysville, WA. They
moved to Las Vegas in 1973. Jo An was employed by the federal
government for twenty years.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cat (Allan) Dyer of Kent,
WA, and Teri (David) Bradley of Goodhue, MN; and one son, Jeff
(Louise) Regan of Salina, KS. Jo An was a very loving Gramma to
Sheryl Regan of Seattle, WA, Eric Bradley of Phoenix, AZ, Sean
and Angelina Regan of Salina, KS, and Cody Bradley of St. Paul,
MN. She is also survived by brothers Edward (Charlotte) Chapman
of Arlington, WA, and Dale (Georgine) Chapman of Everett, WA;
sisters Alma Jean (George) Tenbrink of Arlington, WA, and Dianne
(Dennis) Ward of Granite Falls, WA; sisters-in-law Norma
Chapman of Everett, WA, and Jo Chapman of Lake Stevens, WA;
and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Fred in
1988; and by her baby daughter, Suzanne Regan; grandson,
Joshua Regan; and brothers, Jack, Ray, and Don Chapman.
A celebration of Jo An's Life will be held Thursday, October 25,
2001, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Tenbrink home in Arlington.
Please say a prayer in memory of Jo An, that a cure for cancer
will soon be found.
Jo An will be buried in Las Vegas. Local arrangements by Weller
Funeral Home.
