| A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 2000, in Oregon City Baptist Church for Ruby May Rich, who died Sept. 12 at age 86. Mrs. Rich was born March 7, 1914, in Downing, Mo. Her maiden name was McCloskey. She was raised in Missouri and Iowa. She was personnel director for Quaker Oats in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for 24 years and then for the American Baptist Assembly in Green Lake, Wis. for a year. She moved to Portland in 1965. She was a tour guide and did various jobs for Pittock Mansion for 11 years. She was a member of the church. In 1958, she married the Rev. Mark Rich; he died in 1967. |
| Survivors include her stepson, Charles Rich; stepdaughter, Eleanore R. Turner; sister, Opal Burns; seven grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren. |
| Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to her church. Arrangements are by Peake Memorial Chapel. |
