Freda Faye Peake 

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, in
Peake Memorial Chapel for Freda Faye Peake, who died
Jan. 16 at age 85. 
Freda Faye Farley was born Jan. 30, 1922, in Nampa,
Idaho. She graduated from the University of Oregon
Dental School and taught dental assistants at Portland
Community College. She also co-owned Peake Memorial
Chapel with her husband. She was a volunteer for Dwyer
Hospital and she and her husband were Santa Claus and
Mrs. Claus at the hospital for more than 10 years. In
1942, she married Cecil Roth; he died in 1964. She
married Leslie Peake in 1966; he died in 2002. 
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Sanden;
stepson, Ted Downs; three grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren. Her son John Fager died in 1963.
