POE, Wayne Edward 1919-2007 Wayne Edward Poe passed away Dec. 3, 2007, at the age of 88 after an extended struggle with multiple myeloma. Born July 6, 1919, in Everett, Wash., to Thelma Levie and William Everett Poe, Wayne graduated from Boise High School in 1938. He married Wylene Alice White in April 1942. Wayne moved his family to Portland in 1947. He worked in food sales all of his life, starting out with Gray and Company, West Coast Foods, Fischer Mills, and finally retired with Crescent Foods. The past few years Wayne spent living at The Springs at Clackamas Woods Independent Living. A devoted son, father, and grandfather, Wayne is survived by his daughter, Elaine Allison and her companion, Art Hadduck; grandson, Wayne Foster and granddaughter-in-law, Sarah; granddaughter, Lisa Davidson and grandson-in-law, Cork; daughter-in-law, Carlotta; granddaughters, Charlotte Foster and Elaine Lagerblade; grandson, Wayne Poe Jr., and his fiancee, Kristy; great-grandsons, Austin Smith and Skylar Stevens, Joshua and Jacob Davidson of Puyallup, Wash., Hunter Jones, and Brandon Poe; great-granddaughter, Loretha Jones; and great-great grandsons, Zachary and Tyson Jones. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wylene in May 2003, and son, Cecil Wayne Poe in August 2006. Remembrances to Providence Hospice.
