Stacey Lynne Nolan POCHOP Was born August 2, 1972 in Greeley, CO and died on September 9, 2007 after a brief, courageous battle with melanoma. Stacey passed from her earthly life in the arms of her loving husband and surrounded by immediate family. Stacey was a beautiful, strong, loving and determined woman. Kindness was the guiding principle by which she chose to lead her life. Even as her body was failing, her thoughts of, and concern for others was touching--and so typical of the kind and thoughtful way she lived her life. Stacey accomplished every goal she set, whether it was a milestone achievement or a household organizational task. She graduated from Lake Washington H.S in 1991 and received her baccalaureate degree from the University of Washington in 1995. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy from UW in 1999 and loved her work as a clinical pharmacist in Oceanside, C.A. While in California, she presented her most amazing accomplishment-and the joy of all our lives-Madison Rose and Connor Bowes Pochop. Stacey is survived by her husband, Maj. Timothy B. Pochop, USMC; Connor and Madison Pochop; her parents, Mary Nolan and Tom and Beth Nolan; and her second family, Jeff and Susie Pochop, Jay, Tammy and Jared Pochop, Russ and Kirsten Pochop and Amy, Bryant, Austin and Emerson Budde. In addition, Stacey leaves behind a large circle of treasured friends with whom she created lifelong bonds and lasting, loving memories. Those of us left behind take comfort in knowing that Stacey is at peace and has gone to join her brother, Kyle Nolan. A Memorial will be held on September 15th, at 1:00 p.m., at the Greenwood Christian Church, 8018 Fremont Ave N., Seattle, WA 98103. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions for education to Connor and Madison Pochop at the Bank of America. Please visit Stacey's online memorial at www.mem.com.
