William Wilson PUCKETT Born May 3, 1928 of Renton, passed away May 1, 2006 with his loving family by his side. William was born to James and Lola Puckett in Everett, WA. He graduated from Marysville High School and joined the U.S. Army where he served the 11th Airborne Division in Japan in 1951. Upon his return he graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in accounting, and he went on to receive his CPA certification in 1953. In 1957 he joined Northwest Northern Optical and soon rose to partner. In later years he co-founded a wholesale optical company, known as Vision Craft. He retired from the optical business in 1985 and opened a small accounting practice that he continued until his death. He and his family enjoyed many years of fishing at his summer home at Browns Bay, BC. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his two sisters, Patricia Meiners and Jean Giedzinski. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Elly, his daughters, Deborah (Mark), Lisa (Dixon), sons, Richard and Jason and grandchildren; Sarah, Rachael, Hillary Norris and Aaron and Tori Puckett. At his request there will be no funeral services. A private celebration of his life for friends and family will be held at his home.
