Violet Marie PICCHENA 

A native Seattle resident, died on Columbus Day, October 13th, 2003. Born in 
1911, she lived a long, full life as a proud Italian. Violet worked many years 
for Nordstrom and was retired by law, not the desire to retire from a company 
she so dearly loved. Violet was predeceased by her husband Joseph Picchena 
and her son Robert Picchena. She is survived by her son William Picchena, 
sister Edith Carlson, brother Louis Accetturo, and her grandchildren Jill, 
Jacque, Jodi, Linda, Gail, Gene, Bradley, DeAnne, Robert Jr. and Stephanie, 
along with numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. Violet's 
Funeral Service is set for Thursday October 16th at 11 a.m., 2003 at the Our 
Lady of Mt. Virgin Church.
