John Andrew POMERVILLE Died at peace on July 3, 2003. Born in Nogalas Arizona October 23, 1933 to Leo and Effie Pomerville both deceased. Effie married Howard Gorman and Howard was the father and grandfather and great grandfather to the family the rest of his years. John served in the United States Marines and it was there he met Dona Jean Ballentyne (deceased 1988). John and Dona were married in 1956 and moved and settled in Seattle, WA in 1957. Children: Raye Ann Pomerville (spouse Jim Holmes), Scott Andrew Pomerville (Cassie Christine Pomerville now Sherman), George Howard Pomerville (spouse Rhonda Pomerville). Jona Lee Pomerville (Spouse Daryl Gummere). John is survived by his only brother Paul Pomerville who resides in Indonesia. John worked for the Rasmussen Company for 23 years. He loved to travel, especially to Reno with his son-in-law Jim and have Sunday dinners with the family. He is survived by 7 grandchildren. Ryan Andrew Holmes, Kelsy Raye Holmes, James Michael Holmes, Danielle Cassie Pomerville, Kiley Christine Pomerville, Alexander John Gummere and Alyssa Jean Gummere. Several nieces and nephews, Our father will be remembered for his sense of humor, his laughter his will to keep living and the courage to say "when". We will miss him always.
