Florence Irene Poch With her passing March 29, 2003, her family and friends will miss her radiant smile and spirited lovingness. Florence was born in Hoquiam, WA, July 12, 1907 to Otto and Estelle Roberts. As a member of Visitation Parish and later St. Ann#s, she gave 21 years to spreading devotion to the Rosary and First Saturday in honor of Our Lady. She was also a long time member of St. Ann#s Senior Club and served as Sunshine Chairman writing to the sick. Despite her years of physical suffering, her heart and home were always open to others with a gracious and giving hospitality. For this she will be lovingly remembered. Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Leon, of 62 years. She is survived by her son Robert (Arlene); her daughter Sister Florence Leone OSF of the Kairo#s House of Prayer, Spokane: her sister Virginia of Westlake, CA; grandchildren Mark (Darlene), Lia Poch, Sandra (Scott) Goodale; and 5 great grandchildren. In gratitude for the life she lived and the blessing she was for so many, Liturgy with family and the Franciscan Community of Sisters will be privately celebrated and followed by graveside interment.
