| A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, in Attrell's Newberg Funeral Chapel for Lola Maxine Probst, who died Nov. 22 at age 76. |
| Mrs. Probst was born Lola Maxine Jackson on April 26, 1925, in Tarkio, Mo. In 1945, she moved to the Dayton-McMinnville area. She was a meat wrapper for Safeway for 43 years until retiring. In 1953, she moved to Newberg and later to Dundee in 1997. She helped operate the local Babe Ruth baseball program for 10 years. In 1971, she married Quentin Probst; he died in 1995. |
| Survivors include her daughters, Linda Burnett and Sharon Robertson; brothers, Charles Jackson, James Jackson and John Jackson; sister, Irene Kendall; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild. |
