Mary Elizabeth Piccinono (Thorp) Mary Elizabeth Picconono (Thorp) went to join The Lord and her Father suddenly on April 17, 2002 in Anchorage, AK where she had been living for the last 16 years. Mary was born June 9, 1963 in Seattle, WA. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Edward Sr., in 1995. She is survived by her husband, Alfredo Picconono of Alaska; her loving mother, May Thorp; sister, Pat Berglund and husband Dean; brothers, Ed Jr. and wife Shar, Richard, Dave and wife Dorothy, Robert and wife Denise, Steve and wife Tami, and adopted brother Ali; special nephew, John Bos and wife Michelle; special niece, Christy Reitan and husband Kevin; aunts, Mary Elliott, Norma McDermott and Betty Martin and husband Rich; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; one great-great niece; and numerous cousins (of Washington and St. Joseph, MO). She also had many, many friends (everywhere Mary went). Mary had a zest for life rarely seen. She loved to dance, a fancy meal with steak and crab and two kinds of rich dessert and lots of laughter. She also loved the simple pleasures of life, the sun on her face, a good cup of coffee in the morning, a hug from friends or family and to cuddle with her kitties. Like all of us, Mary had her life trials, her highs and lows. More highs came to her in the last ten years, she found a level of serenity and she found love. Among all who knew her, the image of her beautiful smile, bright eyes and spirit will keep her alive in our hearts and memories forever. The family wishes to thank Kris Wilkerson of Anchorage for all of her love and support in this time of sadness. There will be a celebration of life on May 18, 2002 at 13320 HWY 99, Lynnwood (Carriage Club Estates) in the clubhouse at 1:00 p.m.. This notice was published: Tuesday, May 14, 2002. Everett Herald
