Arthur Leroy Paape 

Arthur Leroy Paape, 74, died in Tacoma, WA, Feb. 24, 1997 after a heart illness. 
Art is survived by brothers, Earl (Marion, WI), LaMoyne (Eau Claire, WI), Bob 
(Ft. Meyer, FL); sister, Ramona Friebel (Victorville, CA); daughters, Sandra Petitt 
(Federal Way) and Nani Paape (Seattle); and grandsons, Chris, Brady and Sean 
Petitt. Also grieving his loss are his longtime sweetheart Louise Cantrell and her 
large extended family, who welcomed Art into their fold. We'll all miss Art's 
passion for life, his kindness, and his ready laugh. A memorial service was 
March 9 in Tacoma. Memorial gifts may be made to St. Joseph Medical Center 
Foundation.
