Connie Peters Orpilla
A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, 2000, in Rose City Cemetery for Connie Peters Orpilla, who died Sept. 22 at age 86. Mrs. Orpilla was born Feb. 12, 1914, in Nogales, Ariz. Her maiden name was Peters. She lived in Portland from 1940 to 1960 and then moved to Seattle, where she was a housekeeper for Harborview Hospital. She lived in Tucson, Ariz., and Vallejo, Calif., before returning to Portland 12 years ago. In 1941, she married Leon Orpilla; he died in 1997.
Survivors include her son, Carlos.
