Margaret Newhardt 

A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Monday, April 17,
2006, in New Song Community Church in Portland for
Margaret Newhardt, who died April 7 at age 48. A
service will precede the memorial service at 3 p.m. in
Willamette National Cemetery. 

Margaret Babcock was born April 14, 1957, in Quantico,
Va., and moved to Portland in 1959. She graduated from
Madison High School and served in the Army, and then
was a homemaker. In 1981, she married Richard Risner;
they divorced. She married Cortland J. Newhardt in
1995. 

Survivors include her husband; daughter, Sheena
Risner; son, Lukas Risner; stepdaughter, Melinda
Tinney; mother, Margaret Babcock; brothers, Chris
Babcock and Peter Babcock; and two grandchildren. 

Arrangements by Oregon Cremation.
