Joseph D. Nole

Joseph D. Nole, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away
April 30, 2002. He was born the eldest of 6 children to Dominick and
Ann Nole in Dunmore, Pennsylvania on January 7, 1934. He was
preced- ed in death by son Jimmy, brother Michael Nole and grandson
Michael Nole. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley; sons
Joseph and Michael; 5 greatly loved grandchildren, Katie, Emily,
Austin, Dominick and Polly; sisters Grace Pablicak, Helen Cantarella
and Ann Appel; brother Dominick Nole; and family friend Susan Luce.
Joe was a proud member of both the United States Air Force and
United States Army Reserves. He retired from Keyport Torpedo
Station after a long and successful career. Joe was an avid bowler and
past president of the Northwest Bowlers Association. He lived for his
grandchildren, bowling, fishing, and playing Keno with Shirley. He will
truly be missed. Viewing will be Sunday, May 5, 2002 at Gaffney
Cassedy Allen and Buckley King Funeral Home. A celebration of Joe#s
life will be held at Chapel Hill Church, Gig Harbor, on Monday, May 6,
