Patrick Edward McGrath

Patrick left us suddenly, to be with his Lord, on
April 6, 2004. He was born in Douglas, AZ in 1944 and
moved to the Sumner area with his family in 1947. He
graduated from Sumner High School in 1962 and attended
Yakima Valley Junior College. He was employed by the
Fibreboard Corp. in Sumner while studying at night for
his Carpentry Apprenticeship, and was subsequently
employed as a Journeyman Carpenter for Absher
Construction. He later continued his education at
Western Washington University in Bellingham, receiving
his engineering degree in 1975. He was employed as an
engineer in the Space program for The Boeing Company
for over 15 years. Among his passion were playing pool
(winning several championships) and fishing. But, his
love for Husky football the strongest passion of all.
Preceded in death by his father, Edward (Mac) and
mother Lillian. He is survived by his son, Daniel and
daughter Brianna; brothers Timothy and Thomas (Tracy).
Upon his request, there will be no services. He will
