| Charles Mage Charles Mage was born in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania on March 3, 1916 and passed away on April 17, 2004. He was a Vancouver resident for 45 years. He graduated from Albuquerque High School in New Mexico and attend- ed Los Angeles City College in California, and was in the first graduating class of the Tacoma Vocational School. He was a sales engineer and worked for the American Manufacturing Company and Globe Machine in Tacoma, Washington, and worked 24 years for Coe Manufacturing Company of Tigard, Oregon. He serviced the Plywood Industry in Western Canada, Mexico, Pacific Northwest and Northern California. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Jean; daughters Sandra Fretag and husband Dennis of Afton, Wyoming; Ronna Liggett and husband Byron of Reno, Nevada; and son Gary Mage and wife Toni of Vancouver; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two nephews. A memorial service will be held April 20, 2004 at East Vancouver Methodist Church, MacArthur Blvd., Vancouver, Washington, at 1:00 PM. Private burial will be at Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Time.
