Donna Faye MAYO Donna Mayo died at the age of 72 in Kent, WA. She was born February 22, 1934 to Ed & Vella Burch in Lanagan, Missouri. Donna's family moved from Missouri to California in 1948. She married Roy F. Mayo on February 5, 1950. They moved to Washington State in l955 and raised their 5 daughters in Enumclaw. Roy and Donna spent countless weekends camping and enjoying the outdoors. They were avid gold panning enthusiasts. Roy wrote several books on the subject which are still in print today. Donna worked for Kelly's Telephone Answering Service for 27 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of Sequoia Baptist Church in Kent, WA. Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Roy Mayo in 1994, and daughter, Marsha Mayo in 2000. She is survived by daughters, Cindy (Kim) Marlatt of Kent, Debbie (Dennis) Stebly of Kent, Sandy Bickar of Montesano, WA, and Trisha (Mike) Schulz of Pacific, WA; mother, Vella Isaacson of Elk Grove, CA; sisters, Twyla Johnson of Marysville, CA, and Sharon Zayas of Elk Grove, CA; brother, Bill Burch of Rio Vista, CA; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Marlatt Funeral Home in Kent, WA at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 11th. Burial will be at Hillcrest Burial Park in Kent, WA.
