| Clarence "Red" Miller Clarence "Red" Miller, born February 18, 1918, in Wasola, Missouri, died at the age of 87, on July 18, 2005, in Silverlake, Washington. He served in the military company "D"-347th Engineer regiment in 1942. Clarence married Ada in 1964, and lived on a small family farm in Startup, Washington. In his day, Clarence was an avid river fisherman, and liked camping as well as fishing. During his latter years, battling Alzheimer's disease, he was cared for by the staff at Bethany at Silverlake. A special thanks to those wonderful caring people. Clarence is survived by his step-children, Audrey (Richard) King, of Monroe, Washington, and Jacquelin Howell, of Alaska; sister, Amy Sherrill of Kansas City, Missouri; brothers, Albert Miller, and Robert A. Miller, both of Kansas; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchil-dren; and great-great-grand-children. He was preceded in death by step-children, Pauline Eret and Clinton Miller; siblings, Freeman Miller, Cecil Miller, Dorotha Watson, and Helen Davis; and parents, Alex and Ada Miller.
