| A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006, in Portland First United Methodist Church for Gloria Brownell Misar, who died Jan. 5 of cancer at age 82. |
| Gloria Mierow was born Oct. 28, 1923, in San Francisco and was raised in Tacoma. She moved to Portland in 1943. A homemaker, she lived in Carver for 28 years before moving to Milwaukie in 1990. In 1943, she married Barry Brownell; they divorced. She married John Misar in 1981; he died in 1991. |
| Survivors include her sons, Charles Curtis and Roger Brownell; daughters, Barbara D'Angelo, Janice Langohr, Marilyn Beyer and Marcia Janich; stepsons, Kurt Misar, Keith Misar, Joel Misar and Regan Misar; brother, Robert Mierow; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. |
