Richard William Middendorf, Jr.
Richard William Middendorf, Jr., 43, of Orondo, WA, died Wednesday morning,
December 3, 2003 as a result of an automobile accident north of Orondo.
He was born January 20, 1960 at Towanda, PA to Richard and Jacqueline (Quinn)
Midden-dorf. Richard moved with his family to Everett in 1965 and attended St. Mary
Magdeline School and Everett High School. He started his career as an electrician as
a material handler, worked in the field for 15 years and in 2002 received his
Journeyman's Card.
Survivors include his son, Anthony William Middendorf of Orondo; his parents, Richard
and Jacqueline Middendorf of Orondo; brothers, Gregory J. (Lisa) Middendorf of
Snohomish, WA, A. Christopher Middendorf of Stanwood, WA, and Andrew P.
Middendorf of Marysville, WA; sisters, J. Marcia (Kevin) Kirkwood of Shawnigan Lake,
BC, Margaret Mary (Mick) Horton of Mountlake Terrace, WA, Robin A. (Mike) House of
Stanwood, WA, Beth Ann (Dick) Crowe of Orting, WA, Colleen M. Salatino of Mulkilteo,
and Andrea L. (Greg) Meuret of Everett; and his maternal grand mother, Mariam Quinn
of Vancouver Island, B.C.; 25 nieces and nephews; and aunts, uncles and numerous
cousins.
Vigil services will be held at 7:00pm on Monday evening, December 8, 2003 at the
Waterville St. Joseph's Catholic Church. A mass of the Christian Burial will be
celebrated at 11:00am, Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at the Waterville St. Joseph's
Catholic Church with Rev. Father John Vogel as Celebrant. Concluding services and
the interment will follow at the Waterville Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held
Sunday from 1:00 until 8:00pm and Monday from 8:00am until after the Vigil Service at
the Waterville Funeral Home.
If desired, memorials may be made to the Central Washington Hospital Cardiac Unit in
Wenatchee, WA.
