Blanche M. McCune
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003, in Sunnyside Little Chapel of the Chimes for Blanche M. McCune, who died Feb. 23 at age 98.
Blanche Ayars was born April 25, 1904, in St. Louis. She moved to Portland in 1936, and taught arts and crafts, personal finance and home economics for children and adults, including at the Friendly House. In 1924, she married Howard A.; he died in 1955.
Survivors include her daughter, Majean Karp; three grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
