Minnie Gertrude Meek
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2002, in Old Scotch Church Cemetery in Hillsboro for Minnie Gertrude Meek, who died April 2 at age 97.
Minnie Gertrude Blake was born Jan. 29, 1905, in Oakland, Calif. She moved to North Plains as a child and to Portland in 1942. She was a homemaker who moved to Forest Grove in 1997. In 1942, she married Steve; he died in 1967.
Survivors include her daughter, Lois Olsen; sons, Dayton Mays and Steve Meek; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
