Roy Earnest Martz
Roy Earnest Martz died Jan. 7, 2002, at age 95.
Mr. Martz was born Sept. 9, 1906, in Greene, Pa. He was a carpenter, retiring in the late 1970s. He lived in Eugene for 53 years before moving in 2000 to Portland. In 1936, he married Agnes Ashland; she died in 1949. He married Catherine Martz in 1965.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Shirley Moen, Ardis Goff, Karen Lopez and MaryAnn Van; son, Ronny; eight grandchildren; and 10 great- grandchildren.
