Myrabelle Beatrice Mahan
Myrabelle Beatrice Mahan died Jan. 6, 2002, at age 97.
Mrs. Mahan was born Myrabelle Beatrice Bloom on Dec. 24, 1904, in Clearfield, Pa. She graduated from Linfield College and received a master's degree from the University of Nevada at Reno. She taught at several schools, retiring from Sunset Elementary in West Linn. She was a volunteer for Meals-on-Wheels and for the Oregon City and Gladstone Senior Centers. In 1947, she married Daniel Mahan; he died in 1969.
Survivors include her son, Orval Paul; three grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
